Chris Reeve began manufacturing knives in South Africa in 1984. Chris transitioned from a full-time tool and die maker to a full-time knife maker and gradually built his knife business. Eventually Chris was able to hire employees as he became a well-known name in the knife industry. In March 1989, Chris and his wife Anne moved to Boise, Idaho where they still are today.
Chris Reeve knives are known for their extremely tight tolerances and fit and finish. Each knife features premium materials like titanium, S35VN, and others in that realm.
